Spring into Summer Get ready for summer with these accessories. Some of these knit up in no time at all and are small enough to take along wherever you go. Please note that I am very flexible with the class schedule and if you are interested in a specific class, but can’t make it to the posted date, I can add a class on a day convenient to you or switch the date. All classes are for a maximum of three students.For all classes I am giving two choices of dates. Class Schedule Summer 2014Summer is here and I have some fun projects planned for my Saturday morning classes.These are individual classes held every Saturday morning from 10:30-12 Noon.The skill level for these classes is beginner/ intermediate. You will learn new techniques and get started on a project.  Class Schedule Winter 2013   Knitting Fundamentals You will learn how to choose and substitute yarn, different methods of cast-on, the knit and purl stitch, decreases and increases and different methods of bind -off. Wine and Yarn Tasting Event!

  Come join us for an evening of wine and yarn! Taste wines that are paired with yarns from the same regions. Try a California Chardonnay with some Pagewood farm Swagger merino wool. Charles from Old Mill Wine in Rhinebeck will be our pairing expert for the wine and Leah will guide us in the yarn selections. Prepaid reservations are required (limit of 18). You can pay in person at the store before 3/13 or here online.  Whats included: Wine Tasting, Yarn Tasting, Snacks, Advice, and lots of fun! When: March 15th from 6pm-8pm at the Knitting Garage!

 Have you been good this week? Did you do all your chores? Did you get an "A" in your Math test? Did you use the potty? If you answered yes to any of these questions then you deserve "Friday's Favorite" item of the week, the Gold Foil Star."Congratulations you have been awarded a gold star for you hard work and efforts." It worked when we were children. To receive a gold star was a great feeling of accomplishment. A perfect reward for a job well done. I just wish it would work on some adults today!
